What are the PRIVELIGES in becoming a Mermaid School?

  • Name and logo of your MDC will be published on MFI’s official website;
  • Official authorization to use MFI’s brand name/ registered trademark/ logo for identification;
  • Exclusive exposure, promotion and advertising traffic on official social media to increase sales, revenue and brand awareness;
  • VIP invitations for related dedicated Mermaid Events, for example, ADEX (Asia’s largest dive expo) & Mermaid Festivals & Competitions;
  • Direct student referrals to the closest MDC as the first priority (according to geographical proximity);
  • Enjoys exclusive discount in purchasing certificate(s):
    • Ranging from 5-25% Off depending on the purchasing amount;
    • Easy payment function being convenient and fast;
    • All certificates purchased and issued by MDC are printed with MDC name;
  • Education Online System (EOS) Account dedicated for MDCs:
    • With the most updated and rich teaching materials;
    • MDC can log in to its independent EOS account to view teaching materials in the system;
    • To facilitate different school management modes, the MDC EOS account can directly set up “school courses” and assign instructors for teaching and certify its students, OR transfer certificates to subordinate instructors to set up courses in their own instructor account;
    • MDC account provides direct access to view all courses and certificates issued by all its registered instructors and relevant student information;
  • MDC Visits and Business Consultations:
    • Meeting your regional manager and receive individual and comprehensive support to grow your mermaid business, going deep into your business model and strategies;
    • Sales and training consultation dedicated to supporting your business, especially in branding your business online and offline effectively;

  • Promotion of Instructors: each MDC may recommend at least one candidate to become a BMI to promote as MI and one MI to become MIT every year.

 

Terms and Conditions:

    1. Maintain at least three qualified Mermaid Instructors under the registration of your MDC every year;
    2. Possess flexible access to swimming pools or any underwater sites which are suitable for teaching, and your cooperating swimming pool(s) are required to sign our “Mermaid Swimming Pool Safety Guidelines”;
    3. MDC Annual Fee is USD2000 or any single purchase of certificates equivalent to the value (Renewal date is 31/3 each year);
    4. Price Agreement: You need to promise that your MDC will strictly follow the suggested course fee to maintain good market order (any form of discount cannot be more than 10 %), and not to maliciously disrupt market order by using competitive wordings or terms, please refer to the latest table of “Suggested Course Fee” in EOS;
    5. Commit to adhere to MFI’s mission and vision, and actively promote mermaid related activities and trainings in the period of cooperation;
    6. Committed to market MFI as your core Certification System for mermaid and underwater trainings, and promise to grant students their certificates in time after passing course examinations;
    7. Obligated to maintain a positive brand image of MFI at all times, opinions expressed externally must be objective and fair;
    8. All marketing materials should mark clearly with MFI’s brand name/ logo, including but not limited to website, promotion posters, social media presence.

 

How do I apply as a MFI Mermaid Development Centre (MDC)?

To become a qualified Mermaid Development Centre, please email us the below information:

  1. Certificate/ Proof of Business Registry, Business Address and Contact Information;
  2. Introduction and Photographs of your Teaching Venue;
  3. Cooperation Agreement of your subordinate mermaid instructors and their EOS emails.
